As a direct primary care practice, we are capable of ordering 100’s of generic medications at wholesale cost and can dispense them directly to our patient members from the office. Similarly, we can order and pass on wholesale pricing for lab work to patients that wish to utilize cash pay rather than billing their insurance. This means up to 85+% savings for many prescriptions and labs . . . which we are able to pass along directly to our patients. 

Of course, we can still send prescriptions to a patient’s preferred local pharmacy for their insurance benefit to help cover, and can also request that the lab bill their insurance for any lab work ordered. We just don’t bill insurance for services we provide directly at rootsMD.
