Immunization Information
Immunizations are a key aspect of disease prevention and health.
We are avid vaccine advocates at rootsMD Direct Care Family Medicine. For the majority of patients, there is no supporting evidence that a delayed or custom vaccine schedule outside of the CDC recommendations is of any benefit.
Most vaccines are covered by insurance and can be completed within your insurance based health system, or possibly at a local pharmacy. Dane County Public Health Department gives vaccines for those without health insurance, or for whom vaccines aren’t covered.
